A Tour of China
Day 1: Depart US
Days 2,3,4 & 5: Hangzhou
 Arrive Shanghai transfer to Hangzhou, a two hour drive away.
Considered one of the most beautiful cities in China, Hangzhou is revered for its stunning natural scenery as well as its friendliness. The city is centered around the magnificent West Lake, and park area. There are tree-lined walkways with bridges, pavilians and shrines, and the Flower Harbor, an extraordinary botanical park, that forms an Asian fairyland around West Lake. Graceful willow trees dip their leaves into the lake, creating peaceful places where people come to relax, picnic, fish, play chess, exercise and sip tea.
We will visit West Lake, Buddhist temples, a tea house, Ling Yin Monastery, Yu Fei Temple and Gardens, the Dragon Well Park, The Tiger Spring, the Flower Arbor, Baochu Pagoda, the Ge Ling Daoist Monastery, the silk museum and market, old street, and the tea plantation. All day Saturday will be devoted to the festivities of the wedding.
Days 6,7 & 8: Tunxi
Three hour drive to Tunxi where we will visit two great healers. The first who was a shaolin monk will perform individual healings and put on a demonstration of healing power and unusual feats using energy. The other is a hidden healer who heals through breath.
We will walk through an old street preserved from the song dynasty, visit a daoist temple and meditation caves, explore the old villages and bamboo forests featured in the movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and take in the ancient grottos, a series of colossal hand-dug rock caves.
Day 9: Yellow Mountain
One hour drive to Yellow Mountain, place of poets, mystics and artists. The Yellow Mountains, located in the southern region of the Anhui Province, are without question one of the most heralded destinations in all of China for tourists of today, as well as those in ancient times. They are the quintessential example of Chinese mountain scenery and have been the subject of thousands of China's classic poems as well as many landscape paintings.
Day 10: Yellow Mountain
1 hour night flight to Shanghai
Days 11 & 12: Putuo Shan
One of China’s four sacred Buddhist mountains this small beautiful car free island has breathtaking ocean views and many temples and shrines. One third of the island’s 3,000 residents are monks. Here we will visit the golden Nanhai Guanyin a famous statue of Quan Yin that stands a hundred and eight feet tall as well as the Buddhist Temples and beaches Putuo Shan is known for.
Days 13 & 14:Shanghai
Free days for shopping and sightseeing in the “Paris of the Orient”, a truly energized and fascinating experience.
Day 15:
Return to the US
